Worth knowing before you order
The meter accepts cells of K = 0.1, 1 and 10 and it ships with a K = 1 cell. The cell constant, not the meter, decides what you can measure accurately: K = 0.1 for high-purity and low-conductivity water, K = 1 for ordinary laboratory and drinking-water samples, K = 10 for concentrated solutions and brines. Ordering the wrong K is the common and expensive mistake here, because a cell used outside its range returns readings that look entirely plausible. One conductivity standard solution is supplied against the five listed calibration points, so buy the standards that bracket your working range. TDS is not measured — it is conductivity multiplied by the TDS factor, so the factor must be set to match your water before TDS numbers mean anything.Specification
