Worth knowing before you order
A polarographic sensor is a consumable assembly, not a solid-state probe: the membrane cap and the electrolyte are what actually wear out, and one of each is supplied. Keep spares, because a fouled or dried membrane reads low and gives no warning. Salinity and barometric pressure are corrected only after the operator types the values in — the meter does not sense either — so readings in brackish water or at altitude are only as good as the numbers entered. Calibration is in air (100%) or in zero-oxygen solution (0%); the zero-oxygen solution is not in the accessories list and is needed for the two-point routine.Specification
