Worth knowing before you order

This model looks the same as the six-parameter version and is not: it adds the ion and dissolved oxygen channels, and it ships with a DO electrode as well as a pH electrode and a K = 1 conductivity cell. The ion channel, however, arrives empty — the fluoride and nitrate ion-selective electrodes and the ORP electrode are listed as optional accessories, and the ion mode measures nothing without one. Every sensor here is a consumable: the DO electrode needs replacement membrane caps and electrolyte on a routine cycle, and the pH electrode and conductivity cell wear out in service. Barometric pressure is entered by hand, not sensed, so DO readings at altitude depend on the operator typing in the right figure.
