Worth knowing before you order

What separates this from the other five-point meter is the record: 1000 stored data sets, a real-time clock, four-digit password protection against unauthorised recalibration, and a printed or PC output. Read the accessories list carefully before ordering — the catalogue titles the model as a pH meter with a thermal printer, but the standard accessories list a printer adaptor rather than a printer, so confirm in writing whether the printer itself and its paper rolls are included; the rolls are a consumable either way. A pH electrode, ATC probe, stand and buffers 4.01, 7.00 and 10.01 are supplied; no ORP electrode is. The input impedance row is printed as '<10¹²Ω', which reads as a ceiling where a pH input needs a floor, so that figure has been left out rather than reproduced with the wrong sign.
