Worth knowing before you order

One frame, several methods — but each method needs its own penetrator and sample cup, and those are quoted against the tests you actually run, not bundled. A grease laboratory needs the full, one-quarter and one-half scale cones and the worker cups; a bitumen laboratory needs needles and a water bath and none of the rest. Tell us the methods and we will list the accessories against each. The DIN and FTM methods are printed by the manufacturer alongside the ASTM and IP ones; they are recorded above verbatim rather than forced into the conformity list, because the catalogue only asserts conformity for standards bodies it can cite properly. The IP methods listed match their ASTM counterparts subject for subject, but no issuing body declares them formally identical, so treat them as parallel methods rather than interchangeable ones.
