Worth knowing before you order

The bin holds 2 kg, not 15 kg. The 15 kg figure is production across a full day and the machine stops when the small bin fills, so it will not accumulate a day's ice unattended - somebody has to empty it into a freezer. It also fills by hand, which is what makes it a bench appliance with no plumbing, and what means it runs dry if nobody tops it up. On ice type: bullet ice is cube-type ice. It cools a bucket or a bottle well enough, but it leaves air gaps and will not pack around a flask, a bag or a specimen - if the samples have to be held in contact with ice, a flake ice machine is the right purchase. Output is quoted at an ideal 20 °C working temperature and falls in a warm room.
