Worth knowing before you order
The three models are the same bath with three different bottom ends - -10, -20 or -30 °C - and that is the whole decision. Two things follow from choosing a cold one. The catalogue specifies alcohol as the bath fluid below 5 °C, so the coldest models run on a fluid the buyer has to source, top up and dispose of, with the flammability and evaporation that brings; pure water is specified only from 5 to 85 °C and 15% glycerin water from 85 to 95 °C. And the -30 model is a physically bigger machine, 63 kg against 41 kg. No cooling capacity in watts is printed anywhere in the table, so pull-down time against a real external load cannot be worked out from these figures - ask for a cooling capacity curve if the bath has to remove heat from a reaction rather than just hold an instrument jacket. Refrigeration is air cooled, so it needs clear space at the vents. SS lid, circulating tube and an insulating sleeve for the tube are included.Specification
