Worth knowing before you order
The crusher is the only reason to pay the difference over the plain ice maker: crushed ice packs around a flask or a bottle where whole bullet ice leaves air gaps, so contact cooling is much better - though it is still not the continuous, sub-cooled flake ice a flaker produces. Storage is 3 kg against a 20 kg per 24 h production rate, so the headline figure is a rate and not a quantity you can leave to build up. It can be plumbed - the inlet hose, tap connector and drain connectors are all in the box - or filled by hand, so it will work on a bench with no services. The refrigerant is R290A, which is propane and therefore flammable; check local rules on siting, ventilation and any electrical work near it.Specification
