Worth knowing before you order
The 5 to 20 kN band covers ordinary dumbbell work to ASTM D638 and ISO 527. Grips decide whether the machine is usable: film and thin sheet need a different jaw face from a moulded dumbbell, and rubber will creep out of a flat jaw at high elongation. Send us the specimen geometry with the enquiry. ISO/IEC 17025 describes the competence of the laboratory that issues the calibration certificate, not conformity of the machine itself — ask for the certificate and read the scope.Specification
