Programmable Vacuum Autoclave, Single-Lever Lock

Vertical steriliser with pre- and post-vacuum stages, so air is pulled out of wrapped and porous loads before steam enters and moisture is pulled out of them afterwards. PLC and HMI controlled.

Typical applications

  • Sterilisation of wrapped instruments and porous loads
  • Sterilisation of tubing, filters and hollow items
  • Culture media and glassware sterilisation
  • Decontamination of biological waste

Conforms to

ISO 17665
  • ISO 17665Sterilization of health care products — Moist heat — Requirements for the development, validation and routine control of a sterilization process for medical devices

Worth knowing before you order

The vacuum stages are the whole point of this machine and worth being clear about. A gravity-displacement autoclave relies on steam pushing air downwards out of the chamber, and it cannot reliably clear air from a wrapped pack, a length of tubing or a filter housing — residual air means the load never reaches sterilising temperature even though the chamber gauge says it did. A pre-vacuum machine pulls that air out first. If your loads are unwrapped media bottles and glassware, the simpler vertical autoclave also listed here does the job for less. Two things the flyer does not state: chamber volume and pressure rating. Both are quotation items, so tell us your largest load. And "21 CFR Part 11 software" describes what the software can do — audit trail, electronic signature, access control. Part 11 compliance is something your site demonstrates through validated use, not something a machine arrives holding, and air removal in particular has to be proved on your own loads with a Bowie-Dick or equivalent air-removal test.

Site preparation required

This instrument needs site work before delivery — typically a level grouted foundation, a dedicated power supply, and in some cases drainage or extraction. We issue the foundation drawing and utility schedule with the quotation so the civil work runs in parallel with the lead time.

Support available

  • Installation & commissioning
  • Calibration
  • Validation & qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Operator training
  • Annual maintenance contract
  • Spares & consumables

Calibration is arranged through NABL-accredited laboratories under the relevant scope. We state the scope and the certificate number on the quotation — see what accreditation actually covers.
