Worth knowing before you order
A rotation reading only means something with three other numbers beside it: the path length of the tube, the wavelength and the sample temperature. This model gives you two wavelengths — the mercury green line at 546 nm as well as the sodium D line at 589 nm — and a Peltier tube, but the catalogue prints neither the measuring range in degrees nor the temperature control range and accuracy, and the specification table did not survive scanning. Ask for all three in writing. The CFR designation buys the software features — audit trail, user accounts and permissions, electronic signature — not a certificate; 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is demonstrated by your own validated process, and the GMP, GLP and FDA wording printed alongside is the manufacturer's claim.Specification
