Digital Water Bath, 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 Hole

Stainless steel digital water bath in four sizes from 6 to 24 litres, with 125 mm concentric-ring openings, PID control and a drain valve, for heating samples in beakers and flasks.

Worth knowing before you order

The floor of the range is RT+10 °C, not the RT+5 °C usual on this class of bath, so in a 25 °C laboratory the lowest setting that will actually hold is around 35 °C - a 30 °C incubation is out of reach in a warm room, and the bath cannot cool at all. Size it on the openings rather than the litres: every model has the same 125 mm holes with five concentric cover rings each, so the real choice between 2, 4, 6 and 8 holes is how many vessels go in at once and what diameter they are. Check the socket before ordering the largest: the 8-hole model draws 1950 W, close to 9 A at 220 V, which is more than a shared bench circuit will carry alongside other equipment. A drain valve and a low-water cut-out are fitted, and SS and ABS beaker holders and a protection cover are in the standard kit.
