Worth knowing before you order

The catalogue lists no temperature control and no sample thermostatting for this model, only the wavelength and the ranges. Optical rotation moves with temperature, so a result from this instrument is a result at whatever the room happened to be — record the temperature with it, and if you have to report at a stated temperature choose a model with a Peltier tube. Note also that the table gives repeatability (< 0.003°) but no accuracy; those are different things, and repeatability alone will not tell you whether the instrument reads true.
