Worth knowing before you order
The two models are the same instrument apart from one line: the cheaper one has no thermostatting and only displays sample temperature, the dearer one holds the sample at room temperature ±10 °C. Refractive index moves with temperature, so if you report nD at 20 °C or work to a monograph, the thermostatted model is the only one of the pair that will do it — and its window is a band around ambient, not an absolute range, so a hot laboratory limits how low you can go. The catalogue prints the control figure as "Room Temperature +10°C" in the table and "±10°C" in the feature list; confirm which. The working wavelength is not printed for either model.Specification
