Automatic ELISA Plate Washer
Automatic microplate washer that dispenses, soaks and aspirates wash buffer a whole plate or a row at a time, to clear unbound reagent between ELISA incubation steps.
Typical applications
- Wash steps in manual and semi-automated ELISA
- Removing unbound antigen, antibody and conjugate between incubations
- Soak steps in immunoassay protocols

Worth knowing before you order
This is the companion instrument to a plate reader, not an alternative to one. All it does is the wash step — dispense buffer into the wells, hold a soak if the protocol calls for one, then aspirate down to less than 1.5 µl of residual liquid, which is what stops carried-over conjugate lifting the background on every well. It does not read absorbance and it does not incubate, so a working ELISA bench still needs a reader and usually an incubator alongside it. Two figures have been left out on purpose. The plate and well-count row is blank in the scan, so the plate types the head is aligned to are not reproduced here, only the well shapes; and the washing volume row prints as "50 ml - 3000 ml", which cannot be a per-well dispense volume, so the unit is wrong somewhere in the printing and the figure is not quoted. Get the dispense volume range and the plate format confirmed in writing. Choose the head deliberately as well: an 8 channel head covers a column of a 96-well plate and a 12 channel head covers a row, which decides how you can run partial plates and strip wells.Specification
