Worth knowing before you order
The upper limit of the measuring range is printed with irregular digit grouping in the source and reads as 40,000,000 mPa·s; confirm it in writing before you order against it. The table also gives repeatability but no measurement accuracy, where the other rotational viscometers in this range state ±1 % of full scale — ask for it. There is no temperature control: the RTD probe reads the sample temperature, it does not hold it, and viscosity moves with temperature faster than any accuracy figure here. Finally, shear rate is only properly defined for a coaxial-cylinder geometry, so ask which of the six spindles the shear-rate display is valid for before you build a method on it.Specification
