Digital Rotational Viscometer with Thermosel System to 300 °C

Rotational viscometer supplied with a heated sample chamber and its own controller, so materials that are solid at room temperature can be measured molten at up to 300 °C.

Worth knowing before you order

The thermosel — heating furnace, temperature controller and RTD probe — is the reason this model exists and it is supplied with it as standard, so this is one line item, not two. The catalogue does not offer the thermosel as a retro-fit to the plain digital rotational viscometers elsewhere in the range, whose only listed temperature option is a refrigerated circulating bath; do not buy one of those expecting to add heat later. The heated chamber takes the small-sample 21/27/28/29 spindle set, not the L-series spindles of the plain viscometers, and the chamber itself is a wearing part on abrasive or charring samples. Two figures are missing: the range for spindle no. 27 did not scan legibly and has been left out, and the table gives repeatability but no measurement accuracy.
