Worth knowing before you order
The base instrument is one capillary injector and one FID, and nothing else. The carrier gas is not supplied, and neither are the hydrogen and air the flame needs - cylinders with regulators, or generators, have to be costed alongside the instrument, and the air source and flow-rate control device the catalogue lists is a separate line item. The column is not included. Nor is the computer: the catalogue states plainly that the user must provide a PC to run the control software, and the oven programming beyond seven ramps exists only in that software. Note the internal contradiction in the catalogue - the feature page claims 10 ramps, the specification table gives 7 on the instrument and up to 10 with the software; quote against the table. Headspace or thermal desorption sampling, where the method needs it, is a further separate item. The manufacturer states the software is compatible with GLP and 21 CFR Part 11; Part 11 compliance rests on the user's validated process, not on anything shipped with the machine.Specification

Site preparation required
This instrument needs site work before delivery — typically a level grouted foundation, a dedicated power supply, and in some cases drainage or extraction. We issue the foundation drawing and utility schedule with the quotation so the civil work runs in parallel with the lead time.Support available
- Installation & commissioning
- Calibration
- Validation & qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Operator training
- Annual maintenance contract
- Spares & consumables
Calibration is arranged through NABL-accredited laboratories under the relevant scope. We state the scope and the certificate number on the quotation — see what accreditation actually covers.
