Combined generator that supplies both flame ionisation detector gases from one cabinet, at up to 300 ml/min of hydrogen and 2000 ml/min of dry oil-free air.

Worth knowing before you order
One cabinet in place of two cylinders: 300 ml/min of hydrogen at 0.3 MPa and 2000 ml/min of air at 0.4 MPa, which is the pairing an FID needs. The purity row prints a single figure, 99.999%, while the air is described only as dry and oil-free - establish which stream that 99.999% covers, and get the air specification separately, before matching the unit to a detector. The hydrogen side is electrolytic and ships with 120 g of potassium hydroxide, so the electrolyte is a recurring consumable and a handling matter. Hydrogen is flammable and generated continuously; site the unit and its outlet lines accordingly and confirm the ventilation the manufacturer expects.Specification
