Worth knowing before you order
This is the manual instrument and it is a different purchase from the digital refractometers in this section: the operator sets the borderline in the eyepiece and reads a scale, and the stated accuracy of ±0.0003 nD is coarser than the ±0.0002 nD of the digital models covering the same range. Refractive index is quoted at 20 °C by convention and this model only displays sample temperature — it holds nothing. If you need a controlled prism, ask before ordering whether the prism block is ported for a circulating bath, because the catalogue does not say. The row printed as "Sugar concentration 0.25 %" carries no qualifier in the source and is reproduced as printed.Specification
