Worth knowing before you order
This is the evaporator body only and it will not work without two things that are quoted separately: a vacuum source and a cold supply for the condenser. The catalogue itself lists the vacuum pump and the water chiller as extra-cost essential accessories, so quote all three together or the unit sits idle on delivery. Match the pump to the solvent — a chemically resistant diaphragm pump is the usual choice for acids and chlorinated solvents — and remember it is the vacuum you can hold, not the bath, that decides the temperature you can distil at. The 25 mL/min figure is for water; low boilers run faster and high boilers a great deal slower. The flask, collection bottle and PTFE seal are ground-joint consumables, so keep spares.Specification
