Worth knowing before you order
Two decisions separate these six models and both cost money to get wrong. First, the condenser: the catalogue states −60 °C suits samples in ordinary aqueous solvents and −80 °C is for samples containing low-freezing-point substances, so an ethanol or acetonitrile matrix points to an −80 °C machine. Second, the sample interface: a plain tray unit dries in bulk, a manifold unit takes round-bottom flasks, and a stoppering unit closes vials under vacuum inside the chamber before the door is opened — you cannot add stoppering later. Note also that the three-tray versions have the smaller 0.094 m² drying area because the third tray position is given up to the stopper or manifold hardware. The rotary vane pump is oil-lubricated, so pump oil and the oil mist filter are recurring costs. The stated 15–25 °C ambient and ≤ 70% relative humidity are real siting constraints, not a formality: a hot or humid room will cost condenser performance.Specification
