Worth knowing before you order
This is the fine-resolution 100 kg platform: 1 g steps on the same 400 x 400 mm platter that the general-purpose 100 kg platform balance uses at 10 g, so if the job needs single-gram discrimination on a 100 kg load, this is the model - and if it does not, the coarser family costs less to own. Readability is not accuracy: linearity is ±3 g, three display steps, and that is the working uncertainty. Calibration is external, so traceable masses up to a substantial fraction of 100 kg are needed for a proper calibration and are not supplied. Only the top platter is specified as stainless; the frame material is not stated, so do not assume the whole balance will survive washdown. The salient features cite a low-battery indicator while the specification lists only a mains supply, so confirm whether a battery is fitted if the balance has to work away from a socket. RS232C is optional. The catalogue does not state a verification (stamping) class, so trade use cannot be assumed without local legal verification.Specification
