Worth knowing before you order
Readability is not accuracy. The display steps in 0.01 g, but repeatability is stated as 0.01 g and linearity as ±0.02 g, so 0.02 g is the figure to work to when the result matters. Calibration is external and no calibration mass appears in the standard accessory list, so a mass of the appropriate value and class has to be ordered separately - it is also what any traceable recalibration will be performed against. The glass windshield is fitted as standard and is not decoration at 10 mg resolution: a draught from a sash, a door or an air-conditioning vent will visibly move the reading without it. The rear display exists so that a second person facing the operator can read the weight, and it can be switched off to conserve the internal battery; the remote display is a separate line item.Specification
