Worth knowing before you order
The two models differ only in how the capacity is split, and the difference decides the purchase: one gives 0.01 mg to 51 g and then 0.1 mg to 220 g, the other gives 0.01 mg to 100 g but tops out at 120 g. If sample plus tare will exceed 120 g, only the first will do; if fine resolution is wanted well above 51 g, only the second will. Every other figure is shared. Note the interface conflict on the catalogue page: the feature list claims RS232C and USB, the specification table lists RS232C only — confirm this before planning to export weights over USB. The detachable display is genuinely useful on a semi-micro balance, because it lets the weighing unit sit in the quietest, most draught-free corner of the bench while the display stays where the operator stands. The specification still assumes that corner is a stable, level surface in a room without draughts; the anti-vibration pad supplied as standard damps bench vibration and nothing more. The density determination kit is optional and quoted separately.Specification
