Worth knowing before you order

Four models share one page and only two things separate them. The first pair has a fixed 1.0 nm spectral bandwidth; the second pair adds selectable 1.0, 2.0, 4.0 and 5.0 nm — worth paying for only if a method you run names a bandwidth other than 1 nm. Independently of that, the second and fourth models carry an eight-position programmable cell changer instead of a single 10 mm holder. Do not read the 0.1 nm 'Resolution' row as the bandwidth: the bandwidth row is the one a pharmacopoeial method refers to. The baseline flatness row is printed in units of A/h, which is a drift unit rather than a flatness unit, and a 'Focal Length 10 mm' row duplicates the cell path length; both have been left out as unreadable. The catalogue says the PC software follows GLP and GMP 'mostly as per 21CFR Part 11' — Part 11 compliance is demonstrated by your own validated process and procedures, not shipped with an instrument, so specify what you need at enquiry stage. Direct A4 printing is offered through one named desktop inkjet printer, which is not part of the supply.
