Worth knowing before you order
This is the single-beam instrument in the touchscreen family. A single beam reads the blank and the sample at different moments, so lamp drift lands in the result: re-blank often, and choose a double-beam model if you scan or run kinetics. Two figures also separate it from the double-beam version and are easy to miss — the bandwidth is fixed at 2.0 nm rather than 1.0 nm, and wavelength accuracy is ± 0.5 nm rather than ± 0.3 nm; if a method names a bandwidth, this instrument will not meet a 1 nm requirement. The feature list on the model's own page repeats the double-beam page's wording about a 'dual optical path and dual detector' and the table lists a reference cuvette position, but the optical system row says single beam — take the table row and have it confirmed in writing. The baseline flatness row is printed in A/h, a drift unit rather than a flatness unit, and a 'Focal Length 10 mm' row duplicates the cell path length; both are left out. The 21 CFR Part 11 wording in the catalogue describes the software, and Part 11 compliance is demonstrated by your validated process, not shipped with a machine.Specification
