Worth knowing before you order

Visible only, and hand-set: wavelength is dialled on a knob, not driven to a set point, and accuracy is ± 2 nm with ± 1 nm repeatability. That is the difference from the automatic-wavelength visible model, which otherwise shares the same 325 to 1000 nm range and 4 nm bandwidth and looks very similar in the catalogue photographs — the two are easy to order in error. With no deuterium lamp and nothing below 325 nm, UV assays are out of scope. The USB port is fitted, but the catalogue states the PC software for editing data through it is optional, so include it on the order if you intend to use it; the larger cuvette holders that make use of the 5 to 100 mm compartment are optional too.
