Water & Environmental Testing

Reagents, standards and instruments for drinking water, effluent, ambient air and soil contamination analysis.

Environmental laboratories live inside IS 3025 and the CPCB consent conditions, and their results carry regulatory consequences. That makes reagent traceability and standard preparation the pressure points. A conductivity standard that is not certified at 25 °C, or an AAS standard supplied in the wrong acid matrix, produces a result that will not survive scrutiny. We supply against the parameter list rather than against a catalogue code.

Tests run here

  • BOD, COD and total organic carbon
  • Total hardness, alkalinity and chloride by titration
  • Heavy metals by AAS and ICP
  • Total and faecal coliform by membrane filtration
  • Total suspended and dissolved solids
  • Residual chlorine, fluoride and nitrate
  • Jar test for coagulant dose optimisation

Governed by

  • IS 3025 — Methods of sampling and test for water and wastewater
  • IS 10500 — Drinking water specification
  • CPCB and SPCB consent conditions
  • NABL accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025
  • culture-media
  • filtration
  • spectroscopy
  • sample-preparation

What this sector draws on

Send us your test schedule for this laboratory.

We will map it to grades, pack sizes and instrument specifications, and flag anything that is over-specified for what you are actually measuring.
